Patronage

Coopertives have been around for many years functioning for the benefit of their member-owners and the community.  One of the major benefits of a successful cooperative is the ability of members to participate in the profits of the organization.  When your cooperative is successful at providing products and services at a competitive price, it issues a portion of the profits back to the members as patronage.  Patronage is issued based on the volume of business done by each member in the past year.
